Associate Professor of Construction Science and Management at The University of Texas at San Antonio
Dr. Karasulu holds MS and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. He
is an Associate Professor at the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Construction
Management, the University of Texas at San Antonio. He was the founding chair of the
construction science and management program/department at UTSA. Before joining UTSA, he
served as a faculty member and administrator at Louisiana State University and Texas A&M
University. Dr. Karasulu is the recipient of several industry and education awards including the
Outstanding Educator Award (National) from the AGC Education and Research Foundation.
